Cool MySpace Backgrounds

If you want to proclaim your school spirit, what better way than to have a background featuring your alma matter in your MySpace page! No matter what school you come from, you’ll definitely find a MySpace background of your school on the Internet (except when your school is relatively unknown *LOL*).

The USF Dons… Obviously I’m not from USF, so I’m kind of wondering what a sword is doing there amidst the USF text, since it reminds me of The Three Musketeers *LOL*. So I looked them up in the good ‘ol World Wide Web, and apparently it’s because they’re known as the USF Dons… Which explains the sword. If you look closely at the bottom part there’s a sort of Z figure made by the sword. Are they imitating Zorro or something? *LOL* Why not scribble the initials USF instead? This is actually a cute and neat background of USF. For one thing it proclaims the green and yellow colors of the school amidst all that silver glitter. Simple, elegant, and cool.

If you happen to be a sports aficionado, you would no doubt find many sports MySpace backgrounds on the Internet. Just name your sport, and you’ll find dozens littered in every website. Most of them focus on sports team logos, and some even have pictures of the sports in action. But here’s one that I found that’s adorable and cute and girly. I got it over at www.picgames.com

The first time that I saw this, I thought that the girl looks like a Barbie doll what with the blond hair and great physique and everything. But is there even a Sporty Barbie out there? It’s great that on the one hand she’s feminine, but on the other she’s athletic as well. And the text “Basketball is my life so get used to it” definitely carries a kick-ass attitude. This background certainly looks girly with the periwinkle blue and pink shades of the background and text respectively. I’d prefer the whole background if it were done in black, though. Makes more impact for one thing, and makes it look more cool as well.

Ah technology… You gotta love it! Who would have thought that you could now use flash as a MySpace background?! I wouldn’t have believed it or imagined that it was possible if I haven’t seen it with my own eyes! Here’s an example of a really cool one! One thing that’s great about having a flash MySpace background is that unlike other backgrounds which are simply great to look at and is static, flash MySpace backgrounds are not only great to look at, but it also has more user interaction. For instance, you can actually click the different areas in the profile (About Me, Interests, etc) and it would display only the specific text in the screen, unlike the usual MySpace page which displays everything about the user’s profile in a single page. Makes it look more neat. There’s even a cool effect when you roll your mouse over the texts!

This background is totally cool, especially when you use it. The graphics are totally great, with the vines and the leaves looking so real. It’s all even animated! The vines keep on swaying, and you can actually see a bug crawling and a butterfly fluttering around. You can even change the color of the text! Unbelievably amazing!

If you’re a student from the University of Texas or simply happen to be a big fan of the Texas Longhorns, then this MySpace background will surely make your day…

Isn’t this a really cool Texas Longhorns MySpace background?! It’s the coolest one from among all the MySpace backgrounds I’ve seen scattered over the Internet. The head of the longhorn sort of looks metallic with the different shades of white and brown used in the outline as well as the ones inside the animal head. Add this to the shadow behind the longhorn as well as the lightning surrounding it, gives it an aura of power and masculinity. There’s a bit of a football image at the bottom part, but what really catches my attention is the orange light at the longhorn’s forehead. Looks fearsome and awesome! This background totally works for me!

Blue is my favorite color, and being so, I like the tones set for this Motocross MySpace background. The rider is wearing blue, the bike is in blue, and the main background is also in blue! The way the rider is positioned looks like he’s there navigating the unsteady dirt roads. The blue and gray tones of the background kind of makes me think he’s navigating through snow, though, which would be kind of cool. I’m just kind of wondering what the picture at the right side of the rider is. All in all, this is one really cool Motocross MySpace background.

Bengal tigers happen to be one of the fiercest animals on the planet. Being so, they make a really good mascot and logo, particularly for a team that’s equally fierce– the Cincinnati Bengals!

My uncle, who happens to be a football fan, took me to a Cincinnati Bengals game last year, and my, was I ever impressed! They’re a great team, and I never realized that watching football could ever be that exciting! So here’s to all Cincinnati Bengals fans out there… I got this from www.pimp-my-profile.com

This is a really cool Cincinnati Bengals MySpace background. It’s all in black and red tones, which are the team colors of the Bengals. There’s a Bengal tiger which serves as the backdrop to the entire background, and the Cincinnati Bengals logo on the top of the page. This is a Bengals MySpace background that really dominates and oozes power. And look at the bottom! The two helmets that face each other are the actual pictures of the helmets that are also really being used by players during the games. Neat, huh? Go Bengals!

They say that a dog is man’s best friend, but for me, I much prefer cats rather than dogs. Why? Well for one thing they don’t slobber all over you, and they’re much easier to maintain. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate dogs at all, just the “taking care” part of it which happens to be quite a challenge.

Isn’t this background really adorable? Look at the pretty little kitty! She looks so cute! With the little hat and the little flowers, you just want to take her home with you and keep her as a pet and take care of her. The backdrop for this background is comprised of little bits of pictures featuring cute little cats in various poses. The varying colors of the dozens of pictures in the backdrop all lend to create a MySpace background that is really cute and lovely to look at, most especially appropriate for cat-lovers out there.
