Father’s Day is finally here! A great day to show your dad how much he means to you, and of thanking him for just being a great dad! Of all the Father’s Day MySpace backgrounds that I’ve seen on the Internet, (and believe me, I’ve searched plenty!) this is actually the least of all evils… What I mean to say is that this is the least cheesy, corny, and wall papery of them all! (I know there’s no such thing as "wall papery", but I’m putting it there anyways to maintain the alliteration *LOL*) Most of the Father’s Day layouts I’ve seen were full of hearts and flowers and "love dad" texts. And I’m like, how about something more original?! They look like something you’d see on a Hallmark card or a gift wrapper, and it most definitely does not look cool as a MySpace background!

Hence, I chose this Father’s Day MySpace background. It’s simple, with just "Dad" and a sailboat and circle on top. Why the sailboat, though? I have no idea. Maybe it’s representative of dads being strong, resilient among storms, leading you along to where you want to go? Anyway, I don’t know exactly, I’m just guessing. There are only two colors for this MySpace background, purple and gray, making this MySpace background a really neat and simple one– the coolest among all uncool MySpace backgrounds out there.

This is called the Famous Stars and Straps Grunge Myspace Layouts. I can understand the grunge part, but why "Famous Stars and Straps"? Apparently, Famous Stars and Straps is actually a clothing line, as represented by the F logo you see on the background. Nice logo, if I do say so myself. On the left side you see the Famous logo in blue and pink with varying sizes amidst a white star-like background, which looks really cool. I like what they’ve done with this MySpace background. Perfect for someone into rock/grunge, especially with the pink skull at the top left. A black backdrop dominates this MySpace background, which is the absolute best, seeing that it totally complements all the colors in here, and is the perfect color that represents grunge.
