Cool MySpace Backgrounds

I have a friend who’s totally fond of butterflies, from figurines to little toys to paintings to accessories. I guess that there’s something really majestic about butterflies, because what was once an ugly worm emerges into a really beautiful creature. Only one word comes to mind when I see this MySpace background: lovely. Very, very lovely. And extraordinary. Here you see the top butterfly having a multitude of colors, done in varying degrees of green and blue. Totally unique and mysterious. I doubt that there’s actually a real butterfly which has those colors. I’m not sure why, but looking at that butterfly gives me the sense that it’s actually flying– most probably because of the white shadow and blurring that surrounds it. Behind the main blue and green butterfly is a series of little yellow orange butterflies, which all seem to be following the lead of the blue and green butterfly. I really like that you can see the yellow orange butterflies flying in groups and in several series, such as the one on the upper left side and upper right side, since it gives more dimension to the whole MySpace background. The whole backdrop is done in black, which complements the colors of the butterflies extremely well.

Pretty scary, huh? I definitely wouldn’t want to come across a place like this! I would be scared out of my wits! But if you’re the type of person who’s full of angst and want to scare people, then this is the perfect MySpace background for you! It’s actually called "Castle Raven", but so far I’m trying to figure out where the castle is. I can see the ravens flapping about in the dark, dreary-looking sky, but the castle? I was only able to figure where it was when I enlarged the MySpace background. That brown little structure at the middle which I assumed was either a rock or a drawbridge is apparently the whole castle. The ravens which look pretty scary become more detailed as well when you enlarge the background. And what do you know, there’s actually a woman there at the center– and she is one scary-looking creature. The black and brown colors that dominate this picture add a sense of gloom and doom and scariness to the whole MySpace background.  The angry-looking clouds, flapping ravens, and weird-looking girl all give off the vibe that something evil is about to be unleashed.
