This MySpace background is pretty simple, but oh so cool! Black is the all-time classic, and whatever color is put alongside it, it just becomes more brilliant! Just like the pinks and purples found in this MySpace background. Don’t you think that the pink and purple color is emphasized more because of all that black? I especially like the little artwork detail on the right side, which is a combination of swirls and twirls and little stars. I like the fact that it’s just on one side and doesn’t dominate the whole page, since it looks so simple but gives a bit of *oomph* all the same. It actually looks very clean and not very messy because it’s all just on one side. I especially like the pink starlight detail that seems to give off a star-like shine amidst all those swirls. It looks feminine, chic, and oh so perfect!

Ah, I just happen to loooove the smell of coffee! Starbucks to me is just too, too cool! It’s the place where all yuppies hang out, whether you just want to plug in your laptop to free wifi, have some very delish coffee and pastries, or basically just chill out with friends. Starbucks is now definitely a lifestyle. And this here MySpace background would certainly proclaim how much of a Starbucks person you are! This MySpace background is basically a composite of different Starbucks drinks. You can see images of a Frapuccino, the plastic cup where they usually serve hot coffee, and the Starbucks on ice drinks. Starbucks is way cool, but unfortunately, this MySpace background doesn’t quite speak much of it. Their Starbucks planners look way much cooler than this MySpace background– it kind of looks like Starbucks giftwrapping paper to me because of the monotony and the pattern. I think this hearts MySpace background is pretty unique as compared to some others. At least this background isn’t dominated by too many hearts, pinks and reds. This whole background is done in white, making this MySpace background look very clean and very fresh. While the fact still remains that this background has many hearts, at least it kind of looks more artistic compared to some others I’ve seen. Some of the hearts in this MySpace background look like drawings of a 5-year-old, but hey, it works for me! I like that it’s done in different colors, so that it doesn’t look too boring, but at the same time, the hearts also don’t all look the same. They’re all drawn differently in one form or another, and it’s also in different sizes, clustered together by color.

This MySpace background is basically all about a bunch of quotes about life. Particularly on how to get a long life– about stuff to do and not to do, and basically your attitude. It’s actually a pretty colorful MySpace background, since the texts are not only done in various colors, but also in various styles of fonts. I really like the little border that you see in this MySpace background– the one at the bottom right which are a bunch of little stars, and the one on the top right which happen to be a bunch of little hearts. I think that it’s pretty cute, that it totally complements all the quotes stuck in the middle. The black backdrop to the entire thing is a great color, since it brings out all the shades and all the colors of the texts.

I wonder if this place is still Earth. Looks like it, but it looks more like the terrain of another planet, since we never have blue and purple skies. The skies are awefully pretty, reflecting a deep and dark night, with little stars shining and peeking out of the clouds. The land is something you can’t distinguish much of, though, since it’s totally dark and you can’t make out anything. This place looks so peaceful and serene, with the body of water looking so still and deep. And then there’s the image of… the moon? Saturn? I have no idea, but it’s image is reflected in the body of water. This scenery is quite spectacularly beautiful in all its glory. The colors which are quite different from what we are used to make this MySpace background totally one-of-a-kind.

I have a friend who’s totally fond of butterflies, from figurines to little toys to paintings to accessories. I guess that there’s something really majestic about butterflies, because what was once an ugly worm emerges into a really beautiful creature. Only one word comes to mind when I see this MySpace background: lovely. Very, very lovely. And extraordinary. Here you see the top butterfly having a multitude of colors, done in varying degrees of green and blue. Totally unique and mysterious. I doubt that there’s actually a real butterfly which has those colors. I’m not sure why, but looking at that butterfly gives me the sense that it’s actually flying– most probably because of the white shadow and blurring that surrounds it. Behind the main blue and green butterfly is a series of little yellow orange butterflies, which all seem to be following the lead of the blue and green butterfly. I really like that you can see the yellow orange butterflies flying in groups and in several series, such as the one on the upper left side and upper right side, since it gives more dimension to the whole MySpace background. The whole backdrop is done in black, which complements the colors of the butterflies extremely well.

Pretty scary, huh? I definitely wouldn’t want to come across a place like this! I would be scared out of my wits! But if you’re the type of person who’s full of angst and want to scare people, then this is the perfect MySpace background for you! It’s actually called "Castle Raven", but so far I’m trying to figure out where the castle is. I can see the ravens flapping about in the dark, dreary-looking sky, but the castle? I was only able to figure where it was when I enlarged the MySpace background. That brown little structure at the middle which I assumed was either a rock or a drawbridge is apparently the whole castle. The ravens which look pretty scary become more detailed as well when you enlarge the background. And what do you know, there’s actually a woman there at the center– and she is one scary-looking creature. The black and brown colors that dominate this picture add a sense of gloom and doom and scariness to the whole MySpace background.  The angry-looking clouds, flapping ravens, and weird-looking girl all give off the vibe that something evil is about to be unleashed.
