So I was actually kind of browsing the Internet, looking for some really cool-looking nature MySpace backgrounds, when I came across this one. I found it when I was actually looking at the top rated MySpace backgrounds over at www.codemylayout.com

This is actually called the "Riverwalk MySpace Layout", although why it’s called Riverwalk is beyond me. If I could rename this particular MySpace background, I would most probably call it "The Elven Woods"! *LOL* Why? Because the image itself looks like it comes from a scene from Lord of the Rings… The tree itself in this background looks quite huge, and add that to the fact that there’s fog and sunlight shining through, it all looks pretty mysterious to me. I never thought that I would ever associate a tree as mysterious, but this MySpace background certainly proved me wrong. It gives off the vibe like something wonderful and magical could happen, hence the elves analogy. I really like the lighting to this whole picture as well as the angle in which this tree is shot, because it looks really fantastic. For nature-lovers, this is the perfect MySpace background for you.

I’ve heard a whole lot about the Aurora Borealis over the years. Also known as the Northern Lights, it’s actually a breathtaking light display that happens in the Northern Hemisphere from September to October and March to April. If I didn’t know that this was a MySpace background of the Northern Lights, I would pretty much assume that it’s disco lights. *lol* But still, it’s beautiful all the same. Over the dark sky, you can actually see the orange of the sunset (at least, I’m assuming it’s the sunset since it’s in orange), and at the same time, the pink, green, and blue that make up the Aurora Borealis. Pretty cool, huh? I love how the colors are all there together, and the fact that it’s all natural and not man-made. It just makes you more appreciative of the majesty of our own green Earth.  It looks really pretty and serene, and I for one would love to see it in real life. This is actually a really cool MySpace background because it’s very colorful yet simple, and it all looks soooo pretty at the same time.

When I was a little kid, the sound of thunder booming and lightning striking was enough to send me running for covers and hiding underneath my bed. Although this kind of lightning probably doesn’t happen in real life, it sure looks good, doesn’t it? I never realized that lightning could look so beautiful, so majestic. Especially when you put it alongside lightning that’s both blue and red. What I like about this MySpace background is that it looks really unique. Besides, you don’t see red and blue lightning everyday, do you? It’s all set against a purple sky, which perfectly sets off all the colors of the lightning. Below it is a picture of a city, and what’s kind of scary is that the lightning is even touching it! If I happen to live where lightning strikes, I’d be pretty scared! Good thing this is only a picture, though, and is not real life. So if you want to have a unique MySpace background, this looks pretty unique to me!

This MySpace background is pretty simple, but oh so cool! Black is the all-time classic, and whatever color is put alongside it, it just becomes more brilliant! Just like the pinks and purples found in this MySpace background. Don’t you think that the pink and purple color is emphasized more because of all that black? I especially like the little artwork detail on the right side, which is a combination of swirls and twirls and little stars. I like the fact that it’s just on one side and doesn’t dominate the whole page, since it looks so simple but gives a bit of *oomph* all the same. It actually looks very clean and not very messy because it’s all just on one side. I especially like the pink starlight detail that seems to give off a star-like shine amidst all those swirls. It looks feminine, chic, and oh so perfect!

Ah, I just happen to loooove the smell of coffee! There was a time in my life where everyday just didn’t start out right without a Starbucks Frappuccino… I must admit, when I first heard about Starbucks, I was thinking, why would I want to spend a whole lot of money for coffee when I can brew my own Nescafe and Coffeemate at home? But then I was introduced to those awesome Fraps, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Starbucks to me is just too, too cool! It’s the place where all yuppies hang out, whether you just want to plug in your laptop to free wifi, have some very delish coffee and pastries, or basically just chill out with friends. Starbucks is now definitely a lifestyle. And this here MySpace background would certainly proclaim how much of a Starbucks person you are! This MySpace background is basically a composite of different Starbucks drinks. You can see images of a Frapuccino, the plastic cup where they usually serve hot coffee, and the Starbucks on ice drinks. Starbucks is way cool, but unfortunately, this MySpace background doesn’t quite speak much of it. Their Starbucks planners look way much cooler than this MySpace background– it kind of looks like Starbucks giftwrapping paper to me because of the monotony and the pattern. I think this hearts MySpace background is pretty unique as compared to some others. At least this background isn’t dominated by too many hearts, pinks and reds. This whole background is done in white, making this MySpace background look very clean and very fresh. While the fact still remains that this background has many hearts, at least it kind of looks more artistic compared to some others I’ve seen. Some of the hearts in this MySpace background look like drawings of a 5-year-old, but hey, it works for me! I like that it’s done in different colors, so that it doesn’t look too boring, but at the same time, the hearts also don’t all look the same. They’re all drawn differently in one form or another, and it’s also in different sizes, clustered together by color.

This MySpace background is basically all about a bunch of quotes about life. Particularly on how to get a long life– about stuff to do and not to do, and basically your attitude. It’s actually a pretty colorful MySpace background, since the texts are not only done in various colors, but also in various styles of fonts. I really like the little border that you see in this MySpace background– the one at the bottom right which are a bunch of little stars, and the one on the top right which happen to be a bunch of little hearts. I think that it’s pretty cute, that it totally complements all the quotes stuck in the middle. The black backdrop to the entire thing is a great color, since it brings out all the shades and all the colors of the texts.
