Cool MySpace Backgrounds

Now this is actually a cool-looking MySpace background! It’s very simple and at the same time, somewhat girly but not too much! It’s something I saw over at www.mygirlyspace.com

Black is the ultimate coolest color for me, since whatever you pair with black comes out really, really cool! The main backdrop here is done in a dark color, and is actually divided into different symmetrical boxes, whose lines are shaded in various neon-looking colors such as pink and green and blue. It’s also dotted with seveal small stars, and what I find really neat is that this MySpace background isn’t too inundated with too much stars, and also too much color, making it look really simple and clean. The best thing that I like about this MySpace background is the message itself written on it: live laugh love, which spells what life is ultimately about. I like the swirly lacey thing that intersects it, and how it’s also shaded in the different colors of green, blue, and pink. Simple, neat, and perfect. That’s how this MySpace background is for me.

What I like about this MySpace background is that it’s very simple and very understated. Here you have two polaroid pictures of feet belonging to a guy and a girl alongside each other. And there’s something awefully cute about it. Unlike the usual love MySpace backgrounds I see of couples kissing or touching, here you have feet of the guy and the girl, which in itself communicates a form of togetherness. And what I find really cool about this background is the notebook paper on the top left with ‘Do you love me?’ written on it, with an "X" on the yes option. This whole MySpace background is done in black and white, giving it far more depth and character than cutesy pink and red love MySpace backgrounds.

Pretty scary, huh? I definitely wouldn’t want to come across a place like this! I would be scared out of my wits! But if you’re the type of person who’s full of angst and want to scare people, then this is the perfect MySpace background for you! It’s actually called "Castle Raven", but so far I’m trying to figure out where the castle is. I can see the ravens flapping about in the dark, dreary-looking sky, but the castle? I was only able to figure where it was when I enlarged the MySpace background. That brown little structure at the middle which I assumed was either a rock or a drawbridge is apparently the whole castle. The ravens which look pretty scary become more detailed as well when you enlarge the background. And what do you know, there’s actually a woman there at the center– and she is one scary-looking creature. The black and brown colors that dominate this picture add a sense of gloom and doom and scariness to the whole MySpace background.  The angry-looking clouds, flapping ravens, and weird-looking girl all give off the vibe that something evil is about to be unleashed.
