Cool MySpace Backgrounds

Of all the computer animated films released by Disney, I loved "Meet the Robinsons" the most! I got intrigued just watching the trailer, but then watching the movie itself totally exceeded my expectations. I expected to get entertained, but what I didn’t expect was to actually learn something from it, which was to "keep moving forward". For this layout, you get a blown-up picture of Lewis and Wilbur amidst a background from the future, in which Lewis travels to. What I don’t get is how come their picture is so big when to their left is an itty-bitty picture of the entire Robinson family. From old Grandpa and Grandma Robinson, to the uncles and aunts, et cetera, et cetera. When you blow up this MySpace background, you’ll actually find that the picture of the Robinson clan is somewhat cut off irregularly. See, there’s Mrs Robinson on the right side, but only her arm and skirt is visible. Uncle Art’s head (guy in white and red) is also cut off. I’m just curious why Lewis and Wilbur’s picture is so big when the Robinson family’s picture is just too, too small that some of their body parts are missing. *LOL* I mean, understandably, Lewis and Wilbur are the stars of the movie, but then couldn’t they have made the Robinson family’s photo a bit bigger? One that really encapsulated the entire family? Just wondering… The main backdrop of this MySpace background happens to be T-Rex. He’s actually the most adorable of all the characters in the movie. Totally loved him! But in this background, he kind of looks more scary than cute! *LOL*

When my sister dragged me off to watch Disney’s “Enchanted”, I admit that I was a bit hesitant… To me, the trailer seemed a bit corny and kiddie. I mean, what could be remotely interesting about a fairy-tale princess that was let loose in New York?! To me, the only redeeming point it had was seeing a lot of Grey Anatomy’s McDreamy onscreen. But then when my sister told me that the movie garnered a lot of positive reviews, it got me curious enough to go along and watch it. Luckily, I did, because it really was quite an ‘enchanting’ movie. *pun intended*

This MySpace background basically features the movie poster of “Enchanted”. There you have Princess Giselle wearing her overblown princess ball gown, with her two leading men, Prince Charming (er… Edward) and divorce lawyer McDreamy. Ah, to be pursued by two really gorgeous guys… That would certainly be a dream come true… *LOL* You have there a backdrop of New York where the story basically takes place, with the very evil stepmother looming over the city. Funny thing, though. The picture doesn’t quite look like Susan Sarandon, the actress playing the part of the evil queen. She kind of looks like Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent, although her face is a bit on the bluish side rather than green. This is actually a very nice layout although it looks kind of pixelated when blown up.
