If you’re into fantasy and anime, this is actually a really good MySpace background for you. It’s actually of a fairy who happens to be surrounded by tiny little butterflies. The focal point of this MySpace background is the fairy who’s wearing a red gown while her hair is blue-green—very typical considering that in anime, hair color is usually of colors that aren’t normal; it can be pink, purple, blue, etc. I really like the play of color between the red gown and the blue-green hair. These two colors sort of clash, but then you have this whole backdrop of gray, and this kind of makes up for the total clashing of colors and makes it blend together well. I like the detail of the marble column where the fairy is sitting as well as the blades of grass and the flowers. The wings of the fairy look sort of like butterfly wings, so if I could name this MySpace background, I’d probably call it “Butterfly Fairy”.

Butterflies are really cute and pretty little creatures. When they open their wings and fly, they just look so, so majestic. Just like this here MySpace background which I got over at www.mygirlyspace.com

Isn’t this such a great piece? It looks like a fantastic work of art! You can see here the black curly things that are representative of branches that stretch out across the screen, and you have the main butterfly with the golden wings that is flying amidst it all. Its wings look to be in perfect detail, etched so clearly and so beautifully. Surrounding the butterfly are silhouettes of other butterflies, done in various shapes and sizes as well as in different colors, which make this background look very colorful and very pretty. Aside from that, you have little buds of flowers, and what appears to be a big ball of light, shining and illuminating this MySpace background, lending it an air or feeling of magic and mystery. Add that to the little dots and circles that look like Tinkerbell’s fairy dust, you have here a great-looking butterfly MySpace background.

When you look at this MySpace background, it just looks like a black background with several pink and white flowers strewn together in the shape of a heart. But then when you actually blow it up and look at it closely, you can see that it’s actually not flowers, but fleur-de-lis. Well, alright, fleur-de-lis is sort of a flower… For those who don’t know it’s actually not a real flower, but rather an emblem often used in coat of arms or flags. It’s symbol is actually derived from a lily or iris flower. Although a fleur-de-lis is more politically symbolic in nature, it sure doesn’t look anything political in the MySpace background. It just looks like a pretty little thing to me. It’s actually set very creatively in this MySpace background, since you have silhouettes of hearts in pink and light gray whose edges are basically shaped as fleur-de-lis. Aside from that you have little bits of black, white, and light gray fleur-de-lis scattered all over, and what do you know, there’s an image of a pair of scissors sticking out. Does this imply that you’re sort of cutting the heart in half? Ouch! But all in all this is a really nice MySpace background. It gets a lot of points for creativity for me.

What I like about this MySpace background is that it’s really feminine and whimsical. I especially love how the colors blend together, even though it reminds me of our High School batch colors which happen to be blue and purple. By the way, is there a purple-colored butterfly in real life? I’m not sure. But anyway, having a purple butterfly is extraordinary in itself to me. I especially like the varying degrees of purple in the wings. On the left side of the butterfly you can see something similar to clouds which are also in varying degrees of purple. It’s actually a very nice touch. While on the right side there’s twirls and swirls of artwork which looks very elegant and all. The blue backdrop complements everything in this MySpace background, adding an element of serenity and the whimsical to it all.

If I were born with a silver spoon in my mouth, with lots and lots of my parents’ money to spend, I would probably make a career out of shopping. I would have Carrie Bradshaw’s closet full of gorgeous clothes and awesome shoes, and most probably a revolving closet like the one Hugh Grant has in Two Weeks Notice. I absolutely loooove to shop! But alas, the only shopping that I do is window shopping. Hence, a fashionista wannabe like me can only do so in my dreams. Here’s a Fashionista MySpace background for you guys out there like me. I think this fashionista MySpace background is really girly and cool, don’t you? It’s actually sort of a montage of really cool fashionista icons such as the smoky-looking eyes, lips, shades, and the hip quotes such as "I’m not immature, I just know how to have fun", "Party like a rock star", and "Being normal is just crazy". For me, this MySpace background is representative of what being a really cool fashionista girl is all about: having lots of fun! Although this MySpace background is a composite of different pictures repeated over and over, it doesn’t look boring or like a gift wrapping paper. It’s too hip to remind me of a wrapping paper, period. Cool, fun, hip, and excitement, this is what this MySpace background is about!

If you happen to be a sports aficionado, you would no doubt find many sports MySpace backgrounds on the Internet. Just name your sport, and you’ll find dozens littered in every website. Most of them focus on sports team logos, and some even have pictures of the sports in action. But here’s one that I found that’s adorable and cute and girly. I got it over at www.picgames.com

The first time that I saw this, I thought that the girl looks like a Barbie doll what with the blond hair and great physique and everything. But is there even a Sporty Barbie out there? It’s great that on the one hand she’s feminine, but on the other she’s athletic as well. And the text “Basketball is my life so get used to it” definitely carries a kick-ass attitude. This background certainly looks girly with the periwinkle blue and pink shades of the background and text respectively. I’d prefer the whole background if it were done in black, though. Makes more impact for one thing, and makes it look more cool as well.

“Whoever said it is a man’s world had no idea how easy it is sometimes to be a girl.” Well I absolutely have to agree with Veronica Mars. Being a girl sometimes carries a whole lot of advantages.

For instance, I remember the one time my car had a car lock strapped on its wheel because I illegally parked it somewhere, and I had absolutely no idea what to do about it. Luckily there’s this guy who came along, offered to drive me to the station where I had to pay the fine, and even offered to lend me the money to pay for it! I absolutely doubt he would have offered if I were a guy… All in all, it’s great being a girl, don’t you think so?

I like this MySpace background since it’s not too girly, what with the “Bitch Keep Hatin” text there. I like the fact that it’s black, as opposed to the usual commonplace pinks, lilacs or lavender flowery backgrounds I always expect to see. I like the “Bitch Keep Hatin” sign which looks somewhat like graffiti, and the colors look great together.

Now this is one really cool girly MySpace background, another example of being girly but not too girly. This MySpace background looks like it’s a model’s, what with the fancy and electric black and white print and all. Using this background together with a cool picture of you would be really something to attract everybody’s eyes and attention! Of course, it’s all about being a fashionista! What better way to proclaim your girl power than by the clothes you wear! It’s all about the fashion which make you feel good, look good, which in turn drive men nuts!
